The trip
Overview
Abu Dhabi packs three very different championship tests into a capital you can cross in twenty minutes: Yas Links, routinely ranked among the best modern links-style courses anywhere; Saadiyat's beachfront golf beside the Louvre Abu Dhabi; and the National course at Abu Dhabi Golf Club under its falcon-wing clubhouse. For Dubai residents it is a ninety-minute drive — closer than most people's home club feels on a Friday.
We build this as four nights on Yas Island or Saadiyat, with rounds spread across three days and one full free day for the family attractions or the Corniche. Course access changes in Abu Dhabi more often than visitors expect, so every tee time is requested, verified and confirmed with you before booking — we never sell a round we have not checked.

Who it suits

Why this journey works
- ✓Yas Links alone justifies the drive — a course people fly in for
- ✓Three distinct course styles: links, beachfront and parkland
- ✓Hotel, courses and attractions all sit within a twenty-minute radius
Day by day
Day 1
Drive down, settle in
The E11 from Dubai takes about ninety minutes. Check in on Yas Island — resort hotels here sit within ten minutes of Yas Links — and walk Yas Bay for dinner. Non-golfers can scope out the week: theme parks one way, Saadiyat beaches the other.
Day 2
Yas Links
Morning tee time at Yas Links, where every hole plays along or towards the water and the wind decides your score. Lunch at the clubhouse, afternoon at the pool. Access unverified — confirmed with the club before booking.
Day 3
Free day, capital style
A deliberate rest day. Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in the morning light, the Louvre Abu Dhabi after lunch, or a full theme-park day for families. Golfers who cannot sit still can add a twilight nine — we will price it as an option.
Day 4
Saadiyat, then the National
This is the double-header day for keen groups, or split the rounds across days 3 and 4: beachfront golf on Saadiyat in the morning, then the National course at Abu Dhabi Golf Club — a parkland tour venue for two decades. Current course operations verified at quote stage.
Day 5
Breakfast and back up the road
No checkout scramble — breakfast, a swim, and the easy drive back to Dubai or the Northern Emirates by early afternoon.

When to go
The Abu Dhabi golf season mirrors Dubai: October to April is prime, with winter mornings occasionally breezy on Yas Links — which is rather the point. Summer play means dawn starts and sharp twilight pricing. School-holiday weeks fill Yas Island hotels with families, so golf groups travelling without children often prefer term time.
