The trip
Overview
Georgia rewards the curious like nowhere else within four hours of the Gulf. This ten-day journey links cobbled Tbilisi, the cave city of Uplistsikhe, Kazbegi’s mountain church above the clouds and the vineyards of Kakheti — where wine was invented eight thousand years ago.
Travel is by private air-conditioned vehicle with an English-speaking guide, staying in a hand-picked mix of boutique city hotels and mountain lodges. Expect supra feasts, toasts with strangers and scenery that fills a camera roll.
