The trip
Overview
Bali divides neatly into two holidays, and this journey takes both. The first four nights sit in Ubud, the island's green interior — rice terraces stepped down the hillsides, temple ceremonies you will stumble across rather than seek out, yoga pavilions over river gorges and a food scene that has quietly become one of Asia's most interesting. The final five nights move south to the coast for beach clubs, surf schools and long pool afternoons.
The split matters because staying only in the south misses the island's point, while staying only in Ubud leaves you an hour from a proper beach. Four nights up, five down is the ratio we have settled on after years of client feedback — enough of the interior to feel Bali's rhythm, enough coast to come home rested.
Direct flights from Dubai reach Bali's Denpasar airport, and we tailor the coastal base to your party: Uluwatu's clifftops for couples, Nusa Dua's calm lagoon for families, Seminyak or Canggu for those who want restaurants within walking distance.

Day by day
Days 1–4
Ubud — the green interior
Arrive from the UAE and drive up into the hills, checking into a resort or private-pool villa overlooking jungle or paddies. A guided day strings together the Tegalalang terraces, the springs at Tirta Empul and a coffee-plantation stop; another morning goes to a cooking class or gorge-side yoga. Walk the Campuhan Ridge before breakfast, browse Ubud's craft market after, and let at least one afternoon disappear at the spa. The Mount Batur sunrise trek — a 3 am start, rewarded — is there for those who want it.
Days 5–9
The south coast — chosen to fit you
A ninety-minute private transfer south to your beach base. Couples do well on the Uluwatu clifftops near the sea-temple and its sunset kecak dance; families settle best on Nusa Dua's swimmable lagoon; the Seminyak–Canggu strip suits anyone who wants café mornings and beach-club sunsets. One boat day to Nusa Penida or a snorkelling trip breaks up the week, and a final massage is practically mandatory at these prices.
Day 10
Home from Denpasar
A short transfer to the airport and the direct flight back to Dubai, arriving the same day. If your flight leaves late, we arrange a day room so the last day still includes a swim.
When to go
Bali's dry season runs roughly April to October — prime conditions, with July and August the busiest weeks; the rainy season from November to March brings short afternoon downpours rather than washed-out days, plus greener paddies and quieter temples. It is a workable year-round destination from the UAE.
