The trip

Overview

Nine nights is where Vietnam stops being a golf trip and becomes a proper tour. This two-centre journey opens in Hanoi — lakeside parkland golf by day, the old quarter's street food and bia hoi corners by night — then takes a short internal flight to the central coast for the designer courses around Da Nang and Hoi An.

The shape suits first-time Vietnam visitors who would regret seeing only one region: five rounds spread across nine nights leaves real time for Ha Long Bay, the Temple of Literature and Hoi An's old town. Emirates connects Dubai to Hanoi and serves Da Nang directly, so the routing works in both directions — we build the flights around your dates.

Every course on the itinerary is a suggestion until each club confirms: we request, verify and report back before you book, and swap venues where a date cannot be secured.

Highlights

  • BRG Kings Island — lakeside golf reached partly by boat
  • Hanoi old quarter evenings between the rounds
  • Internal flight south to the Da Nang and Hoi An course cluster
  • Greg Norman dunes golf at BRG Da Nang Golf Resort
  • Optional Ha Long Bay day cruise built into the northern leg
  • Five rounds, two regions, one set of clubs

Who it suits

  • First-time Vietnam visitors who want both the capital and the coast
  • Well-travelled golf groups tired of single-resort weeks
  • Couples where one plays and one wants Hanoi and Hoi An properly

Why this journey works

  • Two genuinely different regions joined by one short internal flight
  • Five rounds in ten days leaves room for the country, not just the courses
  • Vietnamese green fees keep a two-centre tour inside a sensible budget

Day by day

  1. Days 1–4

Hanoi — parkland golf and the old quarter

Fly overnight from Dubai into Hanoi and settle into a city-centre hotel near Hoan Kiem Lake. Two rounds anchor this leg: BRG Kings Island, the lakeside resort course west of the city, and Sky Lake or Van Tri depending on availability. Evenings belong to the old quarter — egg coffee, pho at plastic stools, the water puppet theatre if you are curious. One free day fits a long Ha Long Bay day cruise.

  2. Day 5

    Fly south to the coast

A short morning flight to Da Nang, then twenty minutes to a beachfront resort on the My Khe strip. Afternoon at the pool; dinner in Hoi An to open the second act.

  3. Days 6–9

    The Da Nang course cluster

Three rounds across the coastal cluster — BRG Da Nang Golf Resort, Montgomerie Links and Ba Na Hills — with a rest day in the middle for Hoi An old town or the Marble Mountains. The courses sit within forty minutes of the hotel, so no round costs you a whole day.

  4. Day 10

    Home via Da Nang

A last beach morning, late checkout where the hotel can hold the room, and the flight back to Dubai. Most groups land talking about which half they would extend next time.

Best Good Possible Less suitableSeasons are guidance, never a weather guarantee.

The two regions run on different clocks: Hanoi is at its best from October to April, while the central coast is driest from February to May — so late winter and spring hit the overlap. Summer works with morning golf; October and November can bring heavy rain to the coast, and we time the routing around it.
